Edouard Baribeaud is an artist who lives and works in Berlin and Paris (doesn't
THAT sound like the life!). These particular pieces are so textured and patterned and cool I get lost staring at all the various marks and combinations of colour. It's pretty expressionist!
Something about this red and blue combo makes me think of 3D images, do you see that too? Baribeaud's website is also incredibly cool and definitely stands out amongst the other over simplistic portfolio websites there are out there. Check out his website
